Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UAE Data Protection Law, Federal regulations, and international standards (e.g., GDPR).
• Develop and implement hospital-wide data protection and privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, patients, and internal stakeholders on data protection matters.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and oversee breach response and reporting.
• Design and manage enterprise data governance frameworks, including data quality standards, classification, and lineage.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and administrative teams to align data governance with strategic objectives.
• Deliver training and awareness programs on data protection and governance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, Health Informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications in data protection/privacy (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) mandatory ; certifications in data governance or information security highly desirable.
