DCAS-Advance Paramedic

The DCAS Advance Paramedic is responsible for providing advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care to patients during emergency and non-emergency situations in accordance with Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) protocols. The role requires rapid assessment, critical decision-making, and safe patient transportation while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, professionalism, and patient dignity.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Emergency Care

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) as per DCAS clinical guidelines.
• Perform patient assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment during pre-hospital care.
• Administer medications, oxygen therapy, IV/IO access, cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, and airway management as per scope of practice.
• Manage trauma, cardiac, medical, pediatric, and obstetric emergencies effectively.
• Monitor and reassess patient condition throughout transport and handover.

Operations & Transport

• Ensure safe and timely transport of patients to appropriate healthcare facilities.
• Operate ambulance equipment and ensure readiness at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient care reports (PCR) and complete all required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, emergency departments, and multidisciplinary teams.

Equipment & Safety

• Inspect, maintain, and restock ambulance equipment and medical supplies.
• Follow infection control, health & safety, and vehicle safety protocols.
• Participate in emergency drills, disaster response, and mass-casualty incidents when required.

Professional Conduct

• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
• Participate in continuous medical education (CME), training, and performance evaluations.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
