We are hiring for a Dental Assistant for our facility in Abu Dhabi - Healthway Medical Center.

You will provide essential clinical and administrative support to the dental team while ensuring a high standard of care for patients.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, managing sterilization and infection control, taking X-rays, handling patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

The ideal candidate will be committed to patient care and have a strong understanding of dental practices, with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

**Clinical Support:**Assist the dentist during dental exams and treatments by providing instruments, materials, and other assistance as needed.

Prepare, sterilize, and disinfect dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas, adhering to infection control protocols.

Take and develop X-rays of patients' teeth and jaws, ensuring that the images are clear and of diagnostic quality.Mix dental materials for fillings, crowns, and other procedures.Provide patients with clear instructions regarding treatment plans and oral care procedures.

Monitor patient comfort during treatments, including adjusting chairs, providing support, and alleviating anxiety.

**Patient Care:**Greet and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about their treatment.

Maintain a safe, clean, and sterile environment for patients throughout their visit.

Assist in patient education by explaining oral hygiene practices, pre-and post-treatment instructions, and home care for dental procedures.

Ensure patient records are accurately updated with medical histories, treatment notes, and X-ray results.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy laws and clinic policies

Licensing and Certifications: DOH (Department of Health) License: Dental Assistant certification from the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi is required.
