Dental Hygienist

Role Purpose

Maintain a smooth workflow in the oral hygiene clinic with such an utmost cooperation with the respective dentist, colleagues and superiors to provide effective and efficient high standard care to our valued patients, carrying out the department's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the receptionist with paper works i.e. referrals, insurance cards, invoices and approvals.
2. Perform scaling and polishing, and teeth whitening procedure for the patients referred by the dentist as well as provide oral hygiene instructions.
3. Practice the universal infection precaution to maintain the good infection control in every aspect of the clinical practice.
4. Maintain availability of stocks and other needed items in the surgery.
5. Responsible to participate in patient and family education to help patients and families to better understand and participate in their care and make well informed care decisions.
6. Perform Daily, Weekly, amd Monthly procedures as per to the role.

Education and Certification Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Allied Dental Science/ Dental Hygienist
• Valid SCFHS lisence.
