Dental Nurse/ Dental Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to join our dental team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will support dentists in delivering high-quality oral care, ensure the smooth operation of dental procedures, maintain infection control standards, and provide excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various clinical procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, endodontics, and oral surgeries.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure proper setup of equipment before and after procedures.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
• Provide chairside support by anticipating the dentist’s needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, pre/post-treatment care, and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain patient records and treatment documentation accurately and confidentially.
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control, sterilization protocols, and QCHP regulations.
• Manage dental inventory and stock, ensuring all materials are available and up to date.

Qualification & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Dental Assisting or Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dental clinic or hospital setting.
• Valid QID.
• Active QCHP license.
• Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
