Dermatology Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Registered Nurse to join our team at Yoland Specialist Polyclinic. The Dermatology Nurse will assist dermatologists and aesthetic physicians in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring smooth clinical operations, maintaining infection control standards, and supporting both medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, excellent patient communication skills, and experience in dermatology, laser, and aesthetic procedures within the UAE healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Patient Care

• Assist Dermatologists and Aesthetic Doctors during consultations, examinations, and procedures.
• Prepare patients for dermatology treatments, laser procedures, and minor aesthetic interventions.
• Support in procedures such as:
• Botox and Fillers
• PRP Treatments
• Mesotherapy
• Chemical Peels
• Microneedling
• Laser Hair Removal
• Skin Rejuvenation Procedures
• Minor Dermatological Procedures
• Wart Removal
• Skin Tag Removal
• Acne Treatments
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment patient instructions.
• Ensure proper documentation of medical records, treatment notes, and patient history.

Infection Control & Safety

• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols as per DHA standards.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
• Ensure proper handling of medical waste and sharps disposal.
• Monitor expiry dates and storage conditions of medications and consumables.

Laser & Equipment Handling

• Assist in laser treatment preparation and patient safety protocols.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of dermatology and laser equipment.
• Follow laser safety guidelines and patient consent procedures.
• Coordinate with biomedical or maintenance teams for equipment servicing when required.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate patient appointments and treatment scheduling with reception and patient service teams.
• Maintain stock and inventory of dermatology supplies, consumables, and medications.
• Report shortages and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Assist in preparing reports required for DHA inspections and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Dermatology, Aesthetic, or Laser Clinic in UAE.
• Experience with dermatology and laser procedures is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of DHA regulations and infection control standards.
• Strong communication and patient handling skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

License/Certification

• DHA License or Eligibility letter (Required)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic procedures.
• Knowledge of skincare products and treatment protocols.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Team player with patient-centered care approach.
• Arabic speaking is an added advantage.

Working Hours

As per clinic operational requirements and DHA regulations.

Salary

Competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
