Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all digital marketing campaigns to promote pharmaceutical products, demo-cosmetics, and medical devices. This role focuses on driving brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and ultimately, sales growth across various digital channels in the Qatar market.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and Campaign Management
· Digital Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across all platforms (Search, Social Media, Email, Website) tailored for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
· Lead Generation: Design and manage online lead generation campaigns to target healthcare professionals (HCPs), pharmacies, and end-consumers (where permitted).
· Budget Management: Oversee and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation and high Return on Investment (ROI) for all campaigns.
- Content and SEO
· Content Creation: Produce, edit, and manage engaging digital content (text, images, video) for websites, social media, and email campaigns, ensuring all content is medically accurate and fully compliant.
· Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement advanced SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings for key product lines and educational content.
· Website Management: Manage and update the company's website(s) and E-commerce plstforms, ensuring excellent user experience (UX), mobile optimization, and current product information.
- Social Media and Advertising
· Social Media Management: Plan and execute social media strategies (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
· Paid Advertising (PPC/SEM): Develop and manage Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns on Google Ads and social platforms, including keyword research, ad copy creation, and bid management.
- Analytics and Compliance
· Performance Tracking: Utilize tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to track, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing activities against defined KPIs.
· Regulatory Compliance: Crucially, ensure all digital marketing content, targeting, and execution strictly adhere to the MOPH guidelines and pharmaceutical advertising codes in Qatar to avoid legal penalties and maintain professional integrity.
· Data Analysis: Provide actionable insights from digital data to inform product marketing and sales teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferrable.
Experience
· Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns.
· Experience working within the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Dermo-cosmetic industries is preferrable.
· Proven expertise in managing: Google Ads, SEO tools, Google Analytics, and major social media platforms (paid and organic).
Skills
· Analytical Skills: High proficiency in data analysis and translating complex digital metrics into clear, actionable business strategies.
· Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of digital advertising platforms and web content management systems (CMS).
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage for local market content and engagement.
