Essential Job****functions and Key Accountabilities:
The DOH Notification Clerk responsibilities include:
- Is committed to the mission of Kanad Hospital and agrees to work as a team member with all staff
- Able to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment
- Set, monitor and achieve personal performance goals
- Maintain high standard of patient confidentiality at all times
- Collect data from the paper/electronic medical records and enter it in the DOH notification system
- Ensure the data reported to the e-notification system are accurate, complete and within the time period.
- Perform quality and compliance checks on the notification reports.
- Collaborate with other departments (physician, nursing team, laboratory, etc.) to ensure documentation are complete and accurate
- Maintain a register of all notification reports
- Develop routine reports and correspondence
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

- Maintaining confidentiality: Ensures that strict confidentiality is maintained regarding Patient records, staff information and other stake holders in relation to any aspect to human resources, finance or information of a strategic or commercial nature concerning Kanad hospital.
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment: Complies with all occupational health and safety welfare provisions, policies and strategies. Acts as a healthy role model for patients and staff by complying with Infection Control and Occupational Health and Safety policies and practices and initiatives.
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
At least 2 years related experience.
