Female EYFS Assistant Nursery Teache (CACHE Level 2 required)

Job description

Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Nursery Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Lead Teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ensure a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment for children. The candidate should hold a CACHE Level 2 certification AND have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate a proactive attitude towards helping children reach their developmental milestones.

Please note : We are only considering candidates with CACHE Level 2.

Qualifications

• Minimum CACHE Level 2 (completed or ongoing). Must have attested and stamped certificates.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursery or childcare environment, specifically with the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience in teaching assistant roles, and handling young children with a child-centered approach.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

Child Interaction

• Treat all children with respect and dignity.
• Assist children with classroom activities, daily routines, and personal care, such as toileting and feeding.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS curriculum and in-the-moment planning approach.
• Help maintain children’s emotional, intellectual, and social development through creative play, games, and guided interactions.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Foster good habits in children, including personal hygiene and self-care.

Curriculum and Classroom Support

• Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and delivering lesson plans that support developmental goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment that encourages creativity

Parent and Teacher Communication

• Maintain open communication with parents during drop-off and pick-up times, providing updates on their child's progress.
• Relay important information and incidents to the Lead Teacher.
• Assist with maintaining documentation of children’s daily activities and learning experiences.

Classroom Maintenance and Administration

• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom by following cleaning schedules and ensuring equipment is safe and sanitized.
• Assist in maintaining classroom displays, bulletin boards, and documentation panels.
• Participate in regular deep-cleaning sessions to ensure a healthy environment.
• Routinely inspect classroom materials and ensure they are in good working condition.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai International City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
