General Practitioner DOH-Site/Industrial

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site General Practitioner (GP) to provide primary healthcare and occupational medical services at industrial and remote site locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, emergency response readiness, and compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver occupational health services such as pre-employment medicals, fitness-to-work assessments, and periodic health screenings.
• Respond to medical emergencies and stabilize patients before referral or evacuation if required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with nurses, EMTs, and paramedics to ensure smooth medical operations at site.
• Ensure adherence to DOH/DHA/MOH guidelines and company policies.
• Conduct health awareness programs and promote preventive healthcare practices among employees.
• Monitor and manage chronic illness cases and occupational injuries.
• Liaise with hospitals and external providers for referrals and follow-ups.
• Ensure proper management of medical supplies, equipment, and medications at site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent)
• Valid UAE License (DOH / DHA / MOH) or eligibility
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a GP, preferably in occupational health / industrial / remote site settings
• Experience in emergency care and trauma management
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in remote or site-based environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in ACLS / BLS / ATLS
• Experience in industrial projects, oil & gas, or construction sites
• Knowledge of occupational health standards and protocols

Work Conditions
