Hair Transplant Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with required instruments and supplies
• Assist in patient preparation and explain basic procedure details
• Perform scalp preparation and marking under surgeon supervision
• Assist during hair transplant procedures (FUE and FUT)
• Extract, dissect, and sort hair grafts under microscope with precision
• Implant grafts into the scalp as per surgeon’s design and instructions
• Ensure proper handling of grafts to maintain viability
• Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
• Maintain accurate records including graft count and placement details
• Clean and sterilize instruments and maintain OT hygiene standards
• Ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure
• Monitor patient condition and report any discomfort or concerns promptly
• Communicate effectively to ensure timely support during procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience or training in FUE and FUT techniques
• Proficiency in handling surgical instruments and microscopes
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in a relevant medical field
• Specialized training in hair transplantation
• Prior clinical or surgical experience is an advantage
• Ability to stand for long hours and maintain focus during procedures

Experience:

• Hair Transplant Technician: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• DHA (Preferred)
