Head of Procurement-Building Materials Division

Experience Required

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain, with at least 4–5 years in the Abu Dhabi market, preferably within the building materials, construction, or trading industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement operations including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency and timely availability of materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Analyze market trends, material costs, and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team to enhance performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Strong network and market knowledge within Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
