Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a retail business dealing with food (FMCG & fresh) and non-food essential products.

This role is responsible for ensuring product availability across multiple retail outlets, optimizing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and driving efficient logistics and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with retail business objectives
• Ensure high on-shelf product availability across all store locations
• Collaborate with merchandising and category teams for effective demand planning
• Lead procurement activities and negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Oversee inventory management, forecasting, and replenishment planning
• Minimize stock-outs, overstocking, and wastage (especially perishable goods)
• Manage warehouse and distribution center operations
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to retail outlets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and service levels
• Ensure compliance with UAE food safety and retail regulations
