Job Overview

HR Officer is responsible for facilitating all key HR functions and programs. This includes issues raised by current and future employees and matters related to employment, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. S/he will work closely together with the HR Manager to ensure that the organization’s processes, and practices are as efficient and high-performing as possible.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Support the implementation of HR initiatives
• Handle the QCHP licensing process of Doctors, Nurses and other Medical Staff
• Handle overseas recruitment processes with outsourcing agencies
• Provide counseling to employees on policies and procedures
• Be actively involved in recruitment by posting ads and supporting with the hiring process
• Assist with the monthly attendance report
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Ensure that employee files are up-to-date and safely stored
• Creating and issuing HR letters such as Bank letters, NOC’s, Certificate of Employment, etc. to staff members
• Renew expired employee documents (QCHP license, Visa, QID, Work Permit, etc.)
• Maintain employee and workplace privacy

Competency (knowledge, skills, & abilities)

• Bachelor’s in Human Resources Degree
• Candidates with the healthcare experience are preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as a HR Officer
• Strong understanding of the labor law in Qatar
• Deadline-Oriented with strong attention to details
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• People oriented and results driven
• Excellent computer skills
