Infection Control Nurse

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Infection Control Nurse
• Experience working in a healthcare entity regulated by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi
• Strong knowledge of DOH rules, regulations, and infection control standards
• Experience in implementing infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and procedures
• Familiarity with audit preparation and regulatory compliance requirements
• Knowledge of Quality standards and KPI monitoring is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs
• Ensure compliance with DOH policies, standards, and guidelines
• Conduct infection control audits, risk assessments, and surveillance
• Provide staff training and awareness on infection control practices
• Prepare reports and support quality improvement initiatives
• Monitor and track infection control KPIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Valid DOH License
• Strong communication and organizational skills
