About the Role

Enigma is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience or exposure to genetics, molecular diagnostics, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows, in addition to blood collection, sample reception, and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood sample collection (phlebotomy) professionally and safely.
• Receive, accession, process, label, and handle patient samples accurately.
• Assist in genetics and molecular laboratory workflows, including DNA/RNA sample handling and preparation.
• Support Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) laboratory processes and related workflows.
• Ensure proper sample storage, documentation, and chain of custody.
• Maintain laboratory quality, biosafety, and operational standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support efficient laboratory operations and patient services.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, or candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience or academic exposure to Genetics, Molecular Biology, Genomics, or NGS workflows is highly preferred.
• Experience in blood collection (phlebotomy), sample reception, and specimen handling is required.
• Familiarity with DNA extraction, molecular techniques, and genomic testing workflows is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills are mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.
