Job Summary
The NICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The nurse ensures adherence to hospital policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting family-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns requiring intensive support.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other NICU equipment.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate and support parents and families regarding infant care and condition updates.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for neonates.
- Participate in continuous professional development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in emergency situations, including neonatal resuscitation and stabilization.
- Uphold the hospital’s mission, vision, and values in all professional interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification recognized by the DHA.
- Licensure: Valid DHA Eligibility Letter or License as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Level III NICU.
- Certifications: BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) mandatory.
- Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge an advantage.

- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and NICU monitoring systems.
- Experience working in NICU Level III is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
