About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and resilient Paramedic to join our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team in Dubai.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital emergency care, Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions, and safe transport for critically ill or injured patients across Dubai. You will operate under the clinical protocols and regulations established by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) .

Key Responsibilities

• Emergency Medical Care: Respond swiftly to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, performing thorough clinical assessments and triaging.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS): Administer ALS interventions—including advanced airway management, ECG interpretation, IV/IO access, cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, and emergency medication administration—in strict accordance with DCAS protocols.
• Patient Transport & Stabilization: Stabilize patients prior to and during transport, continuously monitoring vital signs and clinical status until handover at designated healthcare facilities.
• Medical Equipment & Vehicle Readiness: Conduct routine inspections of ambulances, emergency supplies, and resuscitation equipment to ensure constant operational readiness.
• Documentation & Compliance: Complete accurate Patient Care Reports (PCRs) and maintain clinical documentation adhering to DCAS standards and organizational policies.
• Inter-Agency Communication: Coordinate effectively with dispatch centers, hospital emergency departments, police, and other first responders during critical incidents.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Paramedicine / Emergency Medical Services (EMS) from a recognized institution.
• Licensing (Mandatory): Active DCAS Paramedic License or valid DCAS Eligibility Letter . (Candidates requiring fresh DCAS process must have completed DataFlow primary source verification).
• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Paramedic in an active EMS, ambulance service, or acute Emergency Department setting.
• Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified by the AHA or an equivalent body.
• Preferred: PALS, PHTLS, ITLS, or ATLS certifications.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Proficient in crisis management, rapid critical decision-making, and trauma care.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic fluency is a strong advantage).
• Physically fit and flexible to work rotating shifts (nights, weekends, and public holidays).
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
