Patient Access Ambassador - OP

Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Patient Access Ambassador to serve as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless scheduling, admissions, and overall patient flow coordination across the hospital while working closely with clinical and support teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience and maintain the highest standards of operational efficiency and customer service.

✅Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration in HIMS and collect co-pays/deductibles.
• Coordinate with RCM to verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
• Process outpatient appointments, inpatient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ADT data.
• Coordinate patient schedules, room allocations, transfers, and porter services.
• Liaise with housekeeping, dietary, translators, and other support services.
• Monitor unit supplies and assist with operational reports (LOS, Bed Management, JAWDA KPI, Patient Satisfaction).
• Escalate complaints appropriately and work on a shift basis.

🎓 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service, healthcare administration, or patient relations.
• Experience in a Radiology Department is an advantage.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Bilingual preferred.
