PATIENT ASSISTANT (FEMALE)

A. Patient Reception & Hospitality

Warmly greet all patients and visitors upon arrival to the facility.

Offer coffee, tea, water, or other refreshments to patients and guests in the reception area.

Ensure the waiting area remains clean, comfortable, and well-presented at all times.

Assist elderly patients, pregnant women, or patients with mobility needs to their seats or treatment rooms.

Direct patients to the appropriate department or staff member based on their needs.

Coordinate with the reception and call center teams to ensure updated and accurate appointment schedules.

Answer patient questions regarding general clinic services, processes.

Provide friendly and empathetic communication to help patients feel comfortable and informed.

Escalate medical-specific inquiries to the appropriate nurse, doctor, or clinical team member.

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling patient information.

Follow infection control protocols when interacting with patients.

Ensure all patient interactions are in line with Department of Health-Abu Dhabi standards and facility policies.

Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

1. Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in hospitality, healthcare administration, or a related field is an advantage.

Customer service or patient relations training preferred.

1. Certification

Customer Service or Patient Relations Certificate - preferred but not mandatory

1. Experience

1 to 2 years of experience in hospitality, reception, or patient coordination
