Job Vacancy: Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist (Arabic Speaking)
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role is designed for a clinician who is passionate about delivering evidence-based, child-centered care within a collaborative, high-standard clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in assessing and treating children with a wide range of Neurodevelopmental Delays , demonstrating a deep clinical understanding of the complexities involved in supporting both the child and their family.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments for pediatric patients with diverse communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans specifically tailored for children with neurodevelopmental profiles (including ASD, ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay).
- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions in both Arabic and English to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.
- Collaborate closely within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure holistic care and integrated therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide detailed clinical reports and progress updates in accordance with international healthcare and local regulatory standards.
- Empower families through education, home programs, and active participation in the therapeutic process.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid professional license to practice (DOH Abu Dhabi licensure or eligibility is essential).
- Language: Native or professional fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) and full professional proficiency in English .
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of specialized experience in pediatric rehabilitation, with a proven track record in neurodevelopmental interventions.
Preferred Training & Certifications
Preference will be given to candidates holding postgraduate certifications in the following evidence-based frameworks:
- Social-Communication: Hanen Certified (More Than Words® or It Takes Two to Talk®).
- Diagnostics & Motor Speech: ADOS-2 Clinical Provider or PROMPT Trained.
- Feeding & Oral Motor: SOS Approach to Feeding or specialized pediatric dysphagia training.
- AAC: Advanced proficiency in PECS, LAMP, or robust high-tech AAC systems.
- Inclusion: Familiarity with the ICF (International Classification of Functioning) framework and local educational inclusion standards.
