Role Overview
As our People Manager , you’ll be the driving force behind our company culture and talent acquisition strategy. Your mission? Build and nurture a high-performing, purpose-driven team that thrives on impact. You'll develop hiring practices that help us recruit exceptional talent, foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion, and help us scale with integrity as we grow across the GCC and beyond.
Key Responsibilities****Culture Building & Team Engagement
- Champion a people-first culture that aligns with Scrub Valley’s values and mission.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and belonging.
- Act as a culture steward — ensuring transparency, feedback, and recognition are part of daily life.
- Support team leads in building inclusive and collaborative environments.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Design and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Attract and hire top-tier professionals across tech, marketing, operations, sales, and healthcare sectors.
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and define success profiles for each role.
- Build scalable systems to assess candidate fit based on both skill and cultural alignment.
People Strategy & Operations
- Build and continuously improve HR systems, policies, and processes that support growth.
- Implement data-driven people metrics and feedback loops to inform decision-making.
- Own onboarding, performance review cycles, and internal communications.
- Manage employee documentation, contracts, and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Learning & Development
- Identify skills gaps and propose upskilling, mentorship, and training programs.
- Promote professional growth and career development opportunities across the team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in HR, People Ops, or Talent Acquisition roles; ideally in startups or fast-growing tech environments.
- Proven success in building and scaling culture-focused teams.
- Experience hiring for diverse functions (technical + non-technical).
- Strong understanding of GCC work culture and employment practices.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Passion for mission-driven work — especially in healthcare, HR tech, or recruitment platforms.
