Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with strong experience in the construction and contracting sector. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with sales skills to promote engineering products/services, build client relationships, and drive business growth across Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and contracting industry.
- Promote company products/services to contractors, consultants, and project owners.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to clients.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to propose suitable solutions.
- Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and project pipelines in Saudi Arabia.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads, inquiries, and project opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or related field).
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in sales within the construction or contracting industry.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, project cycles, and contracting procedures.
- Experience in handling tenders, RFQs, and project-based sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with the Saudi market is highly preferred.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Strong network with contractors, consultants, and developers in Saudi Arabia.
- Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
