We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the UAE healthcare sector, exceptional financial management skills, and hands-on experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes including insurance, billing, and collections.

This role requires both strategic financial oversight and day-to-day operational execution to ensure the financial stability and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts department.
  • Oversee the full financial cycle including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Manage healthcare revenue cycle operations: insurance claims, billing, invoicing, reimbursements, and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, VAT requirements, and financial reporting standards.
  • Develop financial strategies to support business expansion and cost optimization.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, insurance providers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with Admin, Operations, and HR to streamline cross-departmental financial processes.
  • Payroll & Cost Management:
  • Oversee payroll processing, staff benefits, overtime, and gratuity calculations.
  • Monitor organizational expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
  • Professional certification is mandatory: CPA, CA, or ACCA.
  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Mandatory healthcare experience in the UAE/GCC (home care, clinic, hospital, or EMS).
  • Strong expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or similar.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic financial planning abilities.
