Senior Inspector - Public Health(UAE National Only)

1. Conduct field inspection operations in public and private facilities located within the scope of border ports to ensure compliance with health regulations, environmental safety, and occupational health standards.

2. Review and investigate health-related complaints and incidents, document findings, and take necessary corrective actions to prevent recurring violations and ensure compliance.

3. Monitor the compliance of health facilities and establishments at ports with general health, sanitation, and hygiene requirements, ensure to apply the procedures approved by the Government of Dubai.

4. Adhere to the use of approved inspection tools and templates, and apply protocols and checklists to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality performance in field inspection activities.

5. Coordinate with relevant internal and external entities, including law enforcement teams and environmental health units, and escalate complex cases to the direct supervisor.

6. Participate in the development and review of health-related policies, standards, and regulations concerning ports, contributing to the enhancement of health protection levels.

7. Participate in the organization of awareness campaigns, workshops, and training programs aimed at promoting awareness and compliance with public health requirements among stakeholders.

8. Collect and analyze health data related to ports and submit periodic reports that support strategic planning and continuous improvement processes.

9. Update and maintain records and reports related to inspections, complaints, violations, and regulatory procedures, in accordance with approved regulatory requirements.

10. Participate in emergency response and public health crisis situations and provide necessary support during field investigations in incidents or outbreaks.
    Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Public Health or any related field
