About the Role
Join one of the most dynamic and fast-growing organizations in the region as a Senior Specialist – Payroll. You’ll play a key role in driving payroll accuracy and efficiency across a diverse and expanding workforce, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams. As the organization scales, you’ll have the opportunity to lead process enhancements, implement automation, and contribute to shaping future payroll strategies across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations with accuracy and timeliness for multiple pay cycles.
- Ensure flawless calculation of salaries, overtime, and deductions while maintaining compliance with UAE labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain and update employee data and payroll records in HRIS/payroll systems (Oracle Fusion).
- Partner with HR and Finance on all employee lifecycle events — from onboarding to offboarding — ensuring seamless coordination.
- Generate and present detailed payroll reports for leadership and audit purposes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, system upgrades, and process optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving labor laws, tax updates, and best practices, ensuring full compliance.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for payroll-related queries, ensuring clear communication and resolution.
- Support internal and external audits, demonstrating accuracy, integrity, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience managing payroll processes in a complex, fast-paced organization.
- Strong understanding of UAE payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency with payroll systems such as Oracle Fusion or equivalent platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of confidentiality and accountability.
