Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Specialist Pediatric Neurologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurological care for infants, children, and adolescents, diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with international clinical standards.

K ey Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, headaches, movement disorders, neurogenetic conditions, and other disorders affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
  • Interpret and evaluate diagnostic investigations, including EEG, MRI, CT scans, EMG/NCS (where applicable), and laboratory findings.
  • Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, geneticists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Counsel and educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and ongoing care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and departmental meetings.
  • Adhere to DHA standards, international clinical guidelines, and organizational protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Pediatric residency program.
  • Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology.
  • Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
  • DHA Eligibility Letter or a valid DHA License as a Specialist Pediatric Neurologist.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Neurology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Turkish Board Certification or specialist training from Turkey.
  • Turkish-speaking physicians are highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a tertiary care or internationally accredited hospital.
  • Expertise in managing complex pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy and neurodevelopmental conditions.
