Speech and Language Therapist

Mind Center for Individuals with Disabilities (MCID) is a leading center based in Doha, Qatar, dedicated to empowering children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities. Licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), MCID provides specialized educational, therapeutic, pre-vocational, and vocational programs that promote independence, communication, inclusion, and lifelong learning.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based speech and language intervention for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and other communication needs. The role focuses on enhancing communication, social participation, functional independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid professional license or eligibility for licensure in Qatar.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in speech and language therapy
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, learning disabilities, or other special educational needs is highly desirable.
