Staff Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our mental health clinic in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals experiencing mental health conditions, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, crisis intervention, and collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with psychiatric and emotional disorders.
• Conduct mental health assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the psychiatrist.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.
• Assist in developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Support patients and their families through education and psycho-social interventions.
• Handle emergency situations and provide de-escalation or crisis intervention as needed.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and clinic policies.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.

Requirements

Education & Licensing

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) from an accredited institution.
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter (Dubai Health Authority).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS and CPI training are a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with at least 1 year in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
• Experience with adolescent or adult psychiatric patients is highly desirable.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and resilience in emotionally challenging environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and electronic documentation.
