Staff Nurse - Dialysis

Job Description We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Dialysis Unit team. The role involves delivering direct patient care to individuals undergoing hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, including patient assessment, monitoring during treatment, and post-procedure evaluation. The nurse will collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective dialysis care. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of clinical practice while providing both physical and psychological support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis, identifying and managing complications.
• Monitor dialysis sessions, document findings, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and operate dialysis equipment safely
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide SBAR handovers and maintain clear communication.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis care and treatment plans.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Report incidents and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

• Valid UAE License or eligibility.

• Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification.

• Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Dialysis Nursing.
