Swimming Instructor - Wellness Club

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to deliver high-quality swimming lessons to clients of all ages and skill levels — from beginners to advanced swimmers. The role requires ensuring safety, maintaining excellent service standards, and fostering a positive, motivating environment. The instructor will also support the growth of the swimming and aquatic fitness programs through effective teaching, client engagement, and promotion of lessons and related services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Swimming Instruction & Program Delivery

• Conduct individual and group swimming lessons for various age groups and abilities.
• Develop and implement customized training plans to improve technique, endurance, and water confidence.
• Use effective drills and feedback to enhance swimming performance.

2. Safety & Risk Management

• Ensure swimmer safety during all sessions.
• Monitor the pool area for hazards and maintain adherence to safety regulations.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and provide first aid when required.

3. Client Engagement & Customer Service

• Build rapport with clients and create a welcoming, supportive learning environment.
• Track progress and adapt training plans based on client needs.
• Address client concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

4. Revenue Generation & Sales Support

• Promote and sell swimming lessons, group sessions, and aquatic programs.
• Encourage clients to purchase swimwear and accessories where applicable.
• Contribute to achieving lesson and retail sales targets.

5. Pool Maintenance & Cleanliness

• Ensure the pool area remains clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to monitor pool conditions and chemical levels.
• Maintain readiness of all swimming equipment.

6. Professional Development

• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings.
• Maintain valid CPR, First Aid, and instructor certifications.
• Stay updated with the latest swimming and teaching techniques.

7. Group Program Leadership

• Lead water-based fitness classes such as aqua aerobics or resistance training.
• Deliver engaging and safe sessions tailored to participants’ fitness levels.

8. Events & Program Promotion

• Participate in workshops, events, and promotional campaigns to attract new clients.
• Support marketing activities and represent the club in community events.

9. Emergency Preparedness

• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Support guest and team safety during emergency situations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Swimming Instructor (recognized international or UAE certification).
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in swimming instruction or aquatic fitness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach and motivate clients of all ages and fitness levels.
• Sales-oriented approach and team player attitude.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
