Ultrasonographer

Performs all requested Ultrasound examinations per the American Hospital Dubai and Medical Imaging Department guidelines. Conducts various ultrasound imaging procedures, including those related to OB/GYN, Abdominal, small parts, Vascular, Neonatal, Musculoskeletal, and Interventional areas. Participates in the coordination of the Departmental Quality Improvement and Education Programs, attends staff meetings, and contributes to unit projects. Schedules patients, evaluates critical and emergency procedures, and collaborates with radiologists to meet procedural needs. Performs safety checks, assists in incident/accident follow-up and patient complaint resolution, and maintains a clean and hygienic work area. Contributes to the effective and safe operation of the Ultrasound suite.

Qualification

• sBachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound/Sonography/Medical Imaging/Radiography o
• rAssociate Degree/Diploma in Ultrasound with Registration/certification or accreditation as a Radiographer/Sonographe
• rActive home country registratio
• nDubai Health Authority (DHA) Licens

ePERSONAL EXPERIENCE

• :Minimum of two (2) years of experience as Ultrasound Technologis
• tKnowledge of human anatomy, human physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminolog
• yKnowledge of radiation, magnetic protection, and safet
• yKnowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) or accreditation standard
• sKnowledge of Middle East Culture and Custom
• sAbility to remain sensitive to the needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skill
• sAbility to maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and Ultrasound technique
• sAbility to speak and write in English fluentl
