UX Designer

Job Description

Role Purpose:

The UX Designer supports the design of user-cantered digital experiences by translating requirements, research insights, and guidance from senior team members into intuitive user flows, wireframes, UI designs, and prototypes.

The role focuses on learning and implementing UX best practices, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and business teams, and applying design fundamentals to create usable, accessible, and visually consistent experiences that meet user and business needs.

Key Accountabilities:

1- UX/UI Design Support & Deliverables;

• Assist in translating product requirements and ideas into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
• Support senior designers in creating end-to-end UX solutions
• Apply user-centered design principles under guidance
• Create and update design files using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
• Convert user journeys into low- and high-fidelity designs
• Identify basic usability issues and suggest improvements
• Follow existing design systems, UI guidelines, and brand standards

2- Collaboration & Communication;

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other designers
• Participate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and team meetings
• Communicate design ideas clearly through visuals and basic storytelling
• Incorporate feedback constructively and iterate designs

3- User-Centered Design Awareness;

• Learn to understand user needs through personas and journey maps
• Apply basic usability and accessibility principles
• Support simple usability testing and observation sessions

4- Design System Adoption & Consistency;

• Use predefined UI components, typography, colors, and spacing
• Maintain visual consistency across screens and features
• Assist in updating or documenting components when required

5- Learning & Skill Development;

• Learn UX tools, workflows, and industry best practices
• Stay updated on UX trends, accessibility standards, and design principles
• Seek feedback and improve design quality continuously

Skills

• Basic proficiency in Figma (Must), Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of UX fundamentals (IA, usability, accessibility)
• Basic wireframing and prototyping skills
• Visual design fundamentals (layout, typography, colour)
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and openness to feedback
• Time management and organization basics
• Portfolio showcasing academic, internship, or personal UX projects
• Proficient in English & Arabic

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
