Warehouse Manager - Riyadh

Job Objective
To oversee and manage the efficient operation of the hospital’s warehouse and inventory systems, ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and non-medical materials. The Warehouse Manager will ensure compliance with healthcare quality and safety standards while optimizing inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
- Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory recording using ERP systems.
- Implement effective stock rotation, minimizing expiry and obsolescence of medical items.
- Oversee periodic stock audits and cycle counts to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
2. Process Optimization & Compliance
- Establish and maintain SOPs in line with hospital policies and MOH guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and equipment.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Prepare regular reports on stock status, consumption trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for inventory planning.
5. Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance
- Enforce adherence to occupational health and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., CBAHI, JCI).
