We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dubai-based Account Director to join our Destination Marketing practice. This pivotal role will focus on our portfolio of B2B/Corporate real estate clients, as well as broader destination projects. You will be instrumental in leading strategic communication initiatives, fostering deep client relationships, and driving impactful campaigns. This role offers the opportunity to lead and innovate within a fast-paced environment, working with high-profile clients and collaborating with industry-leading experts. You will leverage your expertise in corporate & consumer communications, B2B/corporate media relations, and your robust experience in destination or real estate communications.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage key client accounts within the Destination Marketing practice, with a specific focus on B2B/Corporate real estate clients.
- Develop and execute sophisticated communication strategies that integrate corporate & consumer communications for maximum impact.
- Drive B2B/corporate media relations, building and maintaining strong relationships with key business, real estate, and trade journalists and influencers.
- Oversee comprehensive press office functions, proactively identifying news angles and expertly managing reactive media enquiries for corporate and real estate clients.
- Provide high-level strategic counsel to clients, guiding them through complex communication challenges and market opportunities.
- Lead the development of high-quality content, including strategic presentations, thought leadership pieces, press releases, and digital narratives tailored for B2B audiences.
- Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring excellence in project execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience that contributes to success
- Bi-lingual Arabic & English highly desirable
- Proven experience as an Account Director (or equivalent senior role) in a communications agency or in-house team, with significant exposure to B2B/Corporate real estate clients.
- Demonstrable expertise in both corporate & consumer communications, with a strategic understanding of how to bridge the two.
- Exceptional track record in B2B/corporate media relations, with established contacts and a deep understanding of the real estate and business media landscape.
- Extensive experience within destination marketing or real estate communications is essential.
- A strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and execute complex, integrated communication plans that achieve measurable business objectives.
- An adept client handler, capable of building trusted advisor relationships and confidently sharing strategic counsel at a senior level.
