Beauty Therapist

Job Summary

The Facial / Beauty Therapist provides professional facial, skincare, and beauty treatments to patients, ensuring high standards of safety, hygiene, and patient satisfaction. The role involves performing treatments, conducting consultations and skin analysis, maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, managing inventory, supporting clinic operations, and promoting retail products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

• Perform facial and skincare treatments according to clinic standards, approved protocols, and patient needs.
• Conduct patient consultations and detailed skin assessments to recommend suitable treatments within professional scope.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and materials before and after each patient, ensuring hygiene and readiness.
• Ensure all required documentation, consent forms, and patient records are completed accurately.
• Educate patients on skincare routines, post-treatment care, and homecare recommendations.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sterilization, and infection control standards.
• Monitor patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction during treatments.
• Accurately document all treatments, progress notes, and consent forms in clinic management software.
• Report any maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or supply shortages to the Branch Manager.
• Conduct daily and weekly inventory checks for skincare products, tools, and consumables, and submit orders as required.

Functional & Sales Responsibilities

• Promote and sell retail skincare products and services, including upselling and cross-selling with other departments.
• Create and recommend treatment packages to patients when appropriate.
• Support clinic utilization targets by actively encouraging repeat visits and package completion.
• Coordinate with the front desk, doctors, and other clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Take patient feedback, track satisfaction, and encourage Google reviews.
• Stay updated with new treatments, products, and industry best practices to provide professional advice.
