Newborn Babysitter / Infant Caregiver

Job Description:

A newborn caregiver provides attentive and compassionate care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, hygiene, and overall well-being. The role involves supporting parents with newborn care routines and maintaining a nurturing environment for the baby.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed, burp, and care for newborn babies
• Change diapers and maintain infant hygiene
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and soothing the baby
• Monitor sleeping and feeding schedules
• Sterilize bottles and baby equipment
• Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment
• Comfort and calm babies during distress or crying
• Observe and report any health concerns to parents
• Support mothers with basic newborn care when required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous newborn or infant caregiving experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of infant care and hygiene
• Certification in caregiving, childcare, or first aid is an advantage
• Patient, caring, and responsible personality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle newborns with care and attention
• Physically fit and comfortable with flexible working hours
• CPR or infant first aid knowledge is preferred

Certificates:

• BLS certificated
• Caregiving certificate

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
