The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards across the clinic to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role involves routine cleaning, waste disposal, and infection control support in line with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all clinic areas including:
• Patient rooms and consultation rooms
• Waiting areas and reception
• Washrooms and common areas
• Offices and staff areas
• Ensure all surfaces are disinfected regularly, especially high-touch areas (doors, chairs, counters)
• Follow infection control and hygiene protocols as per clinic and health authority standards (DOH guidelines)
• Dispose of general and medical waste safely and correctly
• Replenish supplies such as:
• Soap, tissue, sanitizers
• Towels and cleaning materials
• Assist in preparing rooms before and after patient use
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Ensure proper segregation of waste (general vs. biomedical)
• Support deep cleaning activities as scheduled

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a clinic or hospital
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Good attitude, punctual, and reliable
• Basic communication skills (English; Hindi Urdu is a plus)

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
