Job Title: Customs Clearance Officer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: Up to AED 10,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Clearance Officer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling import and export customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with UAE customs regulations, and coordinating with relevant authorities, freight forwarders, and clients to facilitate smooth cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process customs clearance documentation for import and export shipments.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations through relevant customs systems.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs laws, regulations, and trade requirements.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport providers.
• Verify shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve customs-related issues or delays promptly.
• Calculate duties, taxes, and other applicable charges.
• Maintain accurate records of customs transactions and documentation.
• Assist in obtaining permits, approvals, and certificates from relevant government authorities.
• Provide regular updates to management and clients regarding shipment status.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics operations in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Customs procedures and regulations.
• Experience using customs clearance systems and logistics software.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
