Dermatology Nurse

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Dermatology Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Dermatology RN, you will play a critical role in supporting dermatologists in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with skin conditions. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with dermatological procedures, educating patients on skincare and treatment plans, and ensuring a high standard of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist dermatologists with clinical and cosmetic procedures
• Administer medications and topical treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients on skincare routines and treatment plans
• Document patient histories and treatment outcomes accurately
• Perform wound care and post-operative follow-ups
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to physicians
• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
• Support patients emotionally and answer their questions
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for patient care

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in dermatology
• Strong knowledge of dermatologic conditions and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• CPR and BLS certification
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
