DHA Dental Assistant

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures, maintain patient comfort, prepare instruments and treatment rooms, and ensure proper infection control standards are followed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
• Take and record patient medical histories
• Ensure compliance with DHA infection control standards
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records when required
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials
• Take dental X-rays if licensed/authorized

Requirements

• DHA Eligibility Letter or DHA License as a Dental Assistant
• Diploma or certification in Dental Assisting, Nursing, or related field
• Previous dental clinic experience preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• English proficiency required; Arabic is a plus
