DHA Nurse for Home Healthcare (AN/RN)

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) and Assistant Nurses (AN) to provide high-quality home healthcare services and support Doctor on Call consultations. The role involves delivering patient-centered nursing care in home settings, assisting physicians during on-call visits, and ensuring safe, effective, and compliant clinical practices in line with DHA regulations.

The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Home Healthcare Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed (scope based on AN/RN license)
• Provide wound care, catheter care, injections, IV therapy (RN only), and other nursing procedures as applicable
• Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, medication usage, and home care practices
• Maintain infection control standards and patient safety at all times

Doctor on Call Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during doctor on call consultations (home visits or teleconsultations)
• Conduct initial patient assessments (telephonic or in-person) and report findings to the physician
• Support clinical procedures during on-call visits within scope of practice
• Coordinate care, diagnostics, referrals, and follow-up appointments as per physician instructions
• Monitor patient condition and escalate concerns promptly when required

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation in patient records
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with DHA and company policies
• Coordinate with doctors, operations, and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and accreditation requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

For Registered Nurse (RN):

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Valid DHA Registered Nurse license

For Assistant Nurse (AN):

• Nursing Assistant / Practical Nursing qualification
• Valid DHA Assistant Nurse license
• Ability to perform basic nursing care under supervision
