Doh Licensed Laser Hair Reduction Technician

Role Description The Doh Licensed Laser Hair Reduction Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Ahalia Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The technician performs laser hair reduction procedures in line with Department of Health (DoH) regulations and hospital protocols, including patient consultation, skin and hair assessment, treatment planning, and safe operation of laser equipment. The technician collaborates with dermatologists and other clinical staff to ensure high standards of safety, infection control, and patient satisfaction, while maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to privacy and confidentiality requirements. The role also involves educating patients on realistic outcomes, managing follow-up appointments, and participating in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and technology developments.

Qualifications

• Formal training and Hair reduction certification from one of the following bodies if attained from outside UAE: • The Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal (SCHMR) • National Council on Laser Certification (NCLC) With evidence of ten (10) hands-on training cases
• Hands-on experience operating medical-grade laser devices for hair reduction, including knowledge of different skin types and laser safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of infection control, patient safety standards, and clinical documentation practices in a hospital or clinic setting.
• High level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, and comfort with technology and medical equipment.
• Willingness to work full time on-site in Abu Dhabi, including shifts, weekends,
