DoH Licensed Psychiatry Specalist

Healthline Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Psychiatrist to join our growing clinical team in Abu Dhabi. This role is focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care within an outpatient and primary care framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and mental status examinations, for a diverse adult and/or pediatric patient population.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment plans.
• Primary Care Integration: Provide expert consultation-liaison support to primary care physicians to manage mental health conditions within a holistic medical context.
• Outpatient Management: Manage a consistent caseload of outpatient follow-ups, ensuring continuity of care and monitoring for medication efficacy and side effects.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate assessment and stabilization for patients presenting with acute psychiatric symptoms.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous and timely electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with DoH standards and internal quality audits.
• Patient Education: Empower patients and their families through clear communication regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive mental health strategies.

Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold a valid, active Specialist License from the Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience as a Specialist Psychiatrist.
• Setting: Proven track record in outpatient clinical settings; experience with primary care integration is highly desirable.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage).

Pay: From AED40,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
