EEG Technician

Job Summary The EEG Technician is responsible for performing electroencephalography (EEG) procedures to assist in the diagnosis of neurological conditions. The role requires a DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) license and adherence to clinical protocols, patient care standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities • Conduct routine and specialized EEG procedures as per physician orders • Prepare patients for EEG testing by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort • Apply electrodes accurately following the international 10–20 system • Monitor and record brain activity using EEG equipment • Identify and document abnormal EEG patterns for physician review • Maintain accurate patient records and test reports • Ensure proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of EEG equipment • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times • Assist neurologists during advanced procedures such as video EEG monitoring • Provide support in other neurodiagnostic procedures if required (e.g., EMG support) Qualifications & Requirements • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Neurophysiology / Allied Health Sciences or related field • Valid DOH License / Eligibility Letter as EEG Technician (mandatory) • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in EEG procedures • Strong knowledge of EEG equipment and neurodiagnostic techniques • Good understanding of patient care and clinical standards Skills & Competencies • Attention to detail and accuracy in recording data • Strong communication and patient-handling skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment • Team player with professional attitude • Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
