ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Otolaryngologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating disorders related to the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, utilizing advanced medical technologies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders, in accordance with clinical standards.
• Conduct routine ENT consultations and perform in-clinic procedures such as nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, ear microsuction, ear syringing, and foreign body removal.
• Manage common ENT conditions such as sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, hearing loss, vertigo, tonsillitis, sleep apnea, and voice disorders.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans tailored to the patient's condition, medical history, and UAE pharmaceutical regulations.
• Request, interpret, and explain diagnostic tests (audiometry, CT/MRI scans, lab results) to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Refer complex cases requiring surgical intervention or hospitalization to appropriate tertiary hospitals, while coordinating follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with DHA documentation requirements.
• Educate patients and families on ENT conditions, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Collaborate with other in-house specialists, general practitioners, and allied healthcare providers to offer holistic patient care.
• Participate in clinic quality assurance programs, audits, and continuous professional development (CPD/CME) as mandated.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Valid MOH/SHA License to practice as an ENT Specialist in Sharjah.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience (UAE or GCC experience preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
