Experienced Accountant with Background in Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial planning, healthcare revenue cycle management (insurance, billing, collections), and regulatory compliance within the UAE healthcare sector. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to ensure the financial health and sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounts department.
• Manage full financial cycle including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Oversee revenue cycle management (insurance claims, billing, collections).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, UAE VAT, and financial standards.
• Develop financial strategies to support business growth and cost efficiency.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and investment requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, insurance companies, and regulatory bodies.
• Implement strong internal controls and financial policies.
• Work with Admin, Operations and HR to support processes
• Payroll & Cost Management  Oversee payroll processing, including staff benefits, overtime, and gratuity provisions.  Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA or related field
• CPA/CA/ACCA is required
• 7–10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience in healthcare, clinic, or homecare industry in UAE/GCC is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle (insurance claims, billing, reimbursements).
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
