Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Reception & Communication:
  • Greet and welcome patients, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information about hospital services.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  1. Patient Registration & Records Management:
  • Assist patients with the registration process, including gathering personal and insurance details.
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately in the hospital’s system.
  • Ensure all records comply with confidentiality and privacy policies (e.g., HIPAA standards).
  1. Billing & Insurance Coordination:
  • Verify insurance eligibility, pre-approvals, and payment information.
  • Collect co-pays, fees, and process billing payments as required.
  • Provide invoices, receipts, and resolve any patient billing inquiries.
  1. Operational Support:
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Manage front-desk areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Assist in managing patient queues and wait times efficiently.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Prepare daily schedules for doctors and ensure the clinic is ready for operations.
  • Handle document management, filing, and communication as needed.
  • Support hospital administrative tasks, including inventory of office supplies.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Address patient concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and culturally sensitive demeanor when dealing with diverse patients.
