Role Description This is a full-time on-site General Ledger Supervisor role based in Riyadh. The General Ledger Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the month-end and year-end close processes, reviewing and approving journal entries, performing complex account reconciliations, and supervising junior accounting staff. The role ensures the integrity of the clinic's financial data and supports senior finance leadership in audit preparations and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• General Ledger Management: Strong expertise in overseeing general ledger operations, trial balances, month-end/year-end closing processes, and journal entry reviews.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Compliance and Auditing: Solid understanding of local and international accounting standards to ensure compliance in all financial recordings, and ability to support internal and external audits.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze account fluctuations, investigate variances, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and thoroughness in maintaining financial schedules and records.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; progress towards or completion of professional certifications (such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA) is an advantage.
• Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven experience in general ledger accounting, specifically within the healthcare or clinic setting.
