Job Title : General Manager – Sharif Eye Center Dubai

Location: Dubai,  UAE (GCC) – Overseeing operations in Dubai.

As part of its expansion and to lead the organization into its next phase of growth, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager .

Role Overview:

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and managing  Sharif Eye Center’s Dubai operations, strategy, and growth initiatives across all regional locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall business strategy, financial performance, operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of medical care across all locations.

Key Qualifications:

Experience in Eye Care , Eye Center or Eye Hospitals in the UAE.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership & Vision

• Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan aligned with the business’s mission and

vision.

• Evaluate and pursue opportunities for expanding services, partnerships, and market presence.

• Keep the business at the forefront of ophthalmic advancements through innovation and

modernization.

• Develop and implement business strategies, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership in ophthalmology.

  1. Operational Management

• Oversee daily center operations, ensuring efficiency, quality care, and compliance with

healthcare regulations across the GCC

• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all

departments.

  1. Financial & Business Performance

• Identify cost-saving measures while maintaining high standards of care.

• Explore fundraising, grants, and partnerships to support business growth.

  1. Clinical & Patient Care Excellence

• Work closely with medical directors and board members to ensure high-quality eye

care services.

• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, medical protocols, and ethical guidelines.

• Promote patient-centric care and initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

  1. Human Resource & Talent Development

• Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier management and administrative talent.

• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including medical professionals,

healthcare regulators, and financial institutions.

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of innovation, excellence, and

continuous improvement.

  1. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with medical and business regulations, maintaining high standards of

patient care and ethical practices.

• Mitigate risks by implementing robust governance policies and procedures.

• Maintain transparency and accountability in all business operations.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years senior management experience, with a proven track record in

healthcare or medical sector leadership.

• Must demonstrate excellent proficiency in English, including strong written and verbal

communication skills.

• Strong understanding of business operations and budgeting principles.

• Proven experience in managing multiple locations.

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive organizational growth.

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation processes, and medical compliance.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive change and foster

organizational growth.

Key Skills:

• Strategic leadership and decision-making.

• Financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting expertise.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical sector trends.

• Experience in leading multi-location operations in different regions.

• Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from medical professionals to

regulatory bodies.
